IRA PAPAKONSTANTINOU / GR

Ira Papakonstantinou is an actress and acting coach based in Athens, founder of Ira's Method Studio in Pangrati. Having graduated from Advanced Drama School and Athens University of Economics and Business, she has devised a unique teaching methodology that merges the acting technique with psychological and embodied practices.

She trained under Andreas Manolikakis, studied directly with Ivana Chubbuck, and attended dance-theatre masterclasses with Rainer Behr, while deepening her knowledge of psychology and neuroscience. Her theatrical collaborations include directors Giannis Kakleas, Stavros Svigos, and Vassilis Myrianthopoulos, while her film work includes Letters by Anastasios Dallis and the short film Pillow.

Ira approaches life and art with great curiosity and authenticity, taking inspiration in climbing, the sea, yoga, and the practice of daily rituals. In her case, it is the body that has remained the most honest medium to connect with herself and others.
