DEMELZA OIKONOMOU OKOTZI / GR

Demelza is a dancer from Nigeria, UK and Greece, with a passion for spreading around the afro culture. She studied Psychology, while also becoming a specialist in dance therapy. She started dancing at the age of 5, by learning Flamenco for 10 years. This helped her to be more expressive on stage as well. She then experimented with various dance styles such as waacking, hip hop, commercial, dancehall and heels and ended up teaching and spreading the afro style dance while traveling the world. On stage she collaborated with Katerina Stikoudi, Ivi Adamou, Eleni Foureira, Antetokoumpo, Negros tou Moria and more. In her free time she enjoys writing poems and songs while trying to make her dreams come true.
