ARIS ANTONOPOULOS / GR

Aris Antonopoulos is a professional actor, born in Athens. He graduated from Dilos Drama School and Athens University of Economics and Business in Computer Science and the Sarajevo Film Festival Talent Actor in 2020. His first ever appearance in a tv series was in 2000, when he was 9 years old, in the project “Kato apo tin akropoli” (2000-2003), and was followed by a recurring role in the series “San ton skilo me tin gata” (2003-2004) and then the series “Vera sto deksi” (2004-2006). Since then, as an adult he appeared on a leading role in the tv series “Treli Oikogeneia” (2015-1016),“An Imoun Plousios” (2019-2020) and “Exapsi” (2020-2021), “Eteros egw - Nemesis” (2022). His most recent tv series appearance, was at “Hlektra” as Mimis (2023). In the world of advertising he’s been active since 1998 till today, with over a hundred tv spots and hundreds dubbing commercials. In 2004 he lent his voice to the greek rendition of the Warner Brothers cartoon movie “Polar Express” in the role “Know-it-all”.  His film career started with “Blackmail Boy” (2003) by Michalis Reppas, Thanasis Papathanasiou and was followed by “DIY” by Dimitris Tsilifonis, “Katafigio II: The Ice Path” by C.Nikoleris with a leading role (award winning -Audience Award Thessaloniki Film Festival 2018), “Beckett” directed by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino streaming on Netflix. Regarding theatre, he was in “Anna Frank: The diary” (2017) as Peter. “The Tin Drum” as Oscar - narrator directed by D.Chatoupi(2018),  “Dying Country” written by D.Dimitriadis and directed by R.Pateraki(2018), "Ouzeri Tsitsanis" by S. Kakalas (2018), "To Minore" by T. Tzamarias (2021), and “Unfriend” (2024) amongst others. He speaks English, German, Greek and Spanish, while he practices capoeira and other latin american dances. In his free time he does acrobatics, box and callisthenics and plays musical instruments such as bouzouki, guitar, piano, saxophone and tampoura. Some other of his skills include close-up and a variety of magic tricks.
